Colombian Customs (DIAN) and Colombia Customs Police (POLFA) conducted an unprecedented seizure in Latin America of 34,992 infringing AVENT baby products at Barranquilla, Colombia. The counterfeit consignment was loaded in Yantian, China, transiting in Panama and final destination, Barranquilla, Colombia. During 18 months, a port monitoring program was implemented in some jurisdictions to tackle the illicit trade of infant products.
