PHILIPS in collaboration with MORAN IP, conducted a week of trainings in Colombia for their trademark AVENT, that specializes in baby products from newborns to toddlers.
The first training took place on September 9 in Bogota, and in the following days Cali, Buenaventura and Barranquilla with the final session in Cartagena.
The training was carried out by Ms. Sandra Guerra IP Counsel Latam of PHILIPS and Mr. Hugo Moran R. partner of MORAN IP. This large-scale event managed to train more than 100 agents of the Fiscal and Customs Police (POLFA) and the Directorate of Taxes and Customs (DIAN). The aim of this actions are to prevent the commercialization of potentially dangerous products of dubious origins designed for the use of babies.
