The training was intended to provide with the necessary information to Panamanian officials to detect suspect consignments.

Since 1996, Panama Customs has the power to seize counterfeit goods in transit in Panama with final destination to other Latin America countries.  Due to its geographical position, The Canal, free trade zones, and the logistic activities at ports, Panama is the main port of transit in the region, and received annually 7 millions TEU containers, which 80% of the them are in transit in Panama with final destination to other Latin America.  Based on the above, MORAN IP is compromised to support and assure the anti-counterfeiting strategy of brand owners in Panama.
